Farm
The agricultural company LELLI GIANNI is a small, family-run business that has been passed down from generation to generation for over 100 years, with origins dating back to before 1900.
The company was inherited from my father in January 2009 and since then has undergone a constant and gradual process of modernization, while remaining faithful to its traditional production roots.
With its 15 hectares of land, the farm is located in the Abruzzo region, more precisely in the Teramo area.
The farm is divided as follows:
-
12 hectares in the hills of Notaresco (TE), where, on the land surrounding an ancient farmhouse, there are about 200 olive trees (most of them centuries old).
Thanks to the local microclimate, these trees produce an excellent extra virgin olive oil.
The remaining land is used for cereal cultivation, following proper crop rotation practices. -
The remaining 3 hectares in Cologna Spiaggia, a seaside district of the municipality of Roseto degli Abruzzi (TE).
Due to the chemical composition of the soil and the different microclimate, this land is particularly suitable for growing vegetables such as: lettuce, savoy cabbage, cabbages, fennel, tomatoes, watermelons, melons, aubergines, courgettes, and more.
At present, these vegetables are sold on the local market through nearby supermarkets, as well as through direct sales at the farm and within the Agri Campeggio.
